Description : Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 31 March, 2017, until 06:00 on 3 April, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the A93 North Deeside Road, Milltimber, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the B979 Milltimber Brae and the access road to the Albyn School Playing Field. Scheduled bus services will be exempt. Access to properties will be maintained. Also, Culter House Road, Aberdeen, will be one-way west and northbound, between its northern and southern junctions with Contlaw Road, and Contlaw Road, Aberdeen, will be one-way east and southbound between its northern junction with Culter House Road and its junction with Colthill Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route works.
Alternate Route : An alternative route is available via the B979 Malcolm Road, the B979 Peterculter-Kirkton of Skene, the B9119 Tarland Road, the A944 Skene Road, the B9119 Queen’s Road, the A90 Anderson Drive, the A93 Great Western Road, the A93 St John’s Terrace, and the A93 North Deeside Road.
