Email scams seem to be always with us and the usual general advice is to not click on links in emails or to open attachments unless you are 100% sure it has come from the person it appears to come from. The documents linked here have been forwarded to us from our local police but are originally from the police in London. They detail 2 specific scams they know about that are doing the rounds at the moment. Take a moment to pass this info on to anyone you know who isn’t so tech savvy and might be taken in by such things.
