Following the statement made in Parliament today the SQA Examination Diet in May 2020 will not go ahead. Schools are required to submit estimated grades which are based on a range of assessment evidence gathered throughout the year. The SQA has stated that they will work to ensure that all learners receive their SQA results no later than 4 August. Schools have been asked to continue to work with young people to complete all remaining coursework. Therefore all secondary schools will remain open to accommodate S4-S6 pupils who still have SQA coursework to complete. Individual schools will make the necessary arrangements to be working with these pupils to ensure they gain their qualification, as such our schools will be open to these pupils from Monday.
For pupils who are currently self-isolating, individual arrangements will be made.
