Neighbourhood Health: The Health Improvement Fund 2017/18

Dear all,

The Aberdeen City Health Improvement Fund is available to kickstart local initiatives to improve health and wellbeing in Aberdeen.  The funding has also been extended to include Food In Focus monies to support community food work.  Up to £2,500 is available per project.

Last year we contacted you to help us ensure the funding reached those who stand to benefit the most, namely the people who live and work in our local communities, and this year we’re seeking your support once again to help us get the word out there!

Anyone living or working in Aberdeen can apply to the fund – members of the public, community groups (including informal groups), staff, voluntary or non profit organisations – as long as the work takes place in Aberdeen.

For further information, including examples of previously funded projects, see the attached leaflet or visit the website – www.neighbourhoodhealth.org.uk

Drop in sessions across Aberdeen will also be available to provide further information about the fund, including how to apply – please see attached list.  You can also find us on Facebook (search for ‘Health Improvement Fund) and Twitter (@IFforHealth).
